To accommodate the new Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department building, the 11 acre site required a 430’ x 9’concrete retaining wall, subgrade stabilization using geo-grid, and all utilities extended to the property. The metal building houses staff, provides office space, work shop space, maintenance bays, and storage. Team members also completed training on working around the Preble Meadow Jumping Mouse, a protected species under the Endangered Species Act, to ensure they do not disrupt their habitat and follows a strict SWPPP to prevent construction debris getting into East Plum Creek along with maintaining public access to the TOCR community mulch pile.
