With the towns’ population growing, the need for an additional fire station became apparent. The new 13,000 sq ft pre-engineered metal building is nestled in the Crystal Valley neighborhood. With three pull thru bays, the engines hook-up to the Nederman Exhaust System without having to back in. The living quarters includes seven bedrooms, four showers, a communal living room, full kitchen and dining area. The mezzanine level serves as storage and houses HVAC equipment while the watch tower allows for monitoring brush fires. A few other rooms included in the building are the fitness room, Bunker Gear Room and the SCBA room for filling oxygen tanks.
