Built in 1967, Fire Station 62 received a complete interior renovation and reconfiguration while remaining in service. Work entailed the abatement and removal of hazardous materials, all new MEP systems, new fire sprinkler line brought in from Huron Street, nine (9) new bunk rooms, six (6) bathrooms with showers, a commercial kitchen and dining area, office spaces, decontamination room, fitness room, storage rooms, a structural mezzanine with bunker gear, and new windows and doors.
